Reasons for seeking therapy

What I work on most in my practice

You don't need to have it all figured out to begin. Many people arrive knowing only that something feels off.

  • Anxiety and panic attacksUnderstanding what triggers them and having tools for when they appear.
  • Stress and burnoutWhen work takes over everything and your body starts to send warnings.
  • Grief and breakupsA place to go through a loss without rushing the process.
  • Self-esteem and relationshipsPatterns that repeat in your relationship, family, or work.
  • Life transitionsMotherhood, moving, a new job, or a new country.
  • Trouble sleepingWhen your mind won't stop at night and it affects your day.

How I work

A process with a beginning and a direction

My approach is cognitive and integrative: besides talking through what you are going through, we look for concrete changes in your day-to-day life.

  1. First appointment

We get to know each other, you tell me what brings you here, and together we see whether I'm the right professional for you.

  2. Weekly sessions

50-minute sessions at a regular time so therapy has continuity.

  3. Goal review

Every two or three months we look at what has changed and where we go next.

About me

Hi, I'm Camila

I've been a psychologist for 12 years. Before opening my own practice, I worked in the mental health service of a city hospital, where I learned to listen without rushing.

In therapy, I want you to feel comfortable talking about anything, and to leave with something you can use during your week.

Frequently asked questions

Before you message me

How do I know if I need therapy?

If something has been worrying you for a while, you find it hard to enjoy things, or you feel you keep repeating situations that aren't good for you, it's worth reaching out. We'll figure it out together in the first appointment.

Does online therapy work just as well?

Yes. Many people find it easier to stick with because there is no commute. What matters is having a private place.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Everything we talk about is protected by professional confidentiality.

How long does treatment last?

It depends on what brings you in. Some concerns are resolved in a few months and others take longer. We'll review it together as we go.

Do you accept health insurance plans?

I see patients privately and give you an invoice so you can request reimbursement. The amount depends on your plan.
